Problem: When adding location fields to a SharePoint Online list, got this error, “Sorry, we couldn’t create the column. Please try again.”

Root Cause

This is because of the Column limitations in SharePoint Online. You can create up to three location columns only in any Sharepoint Online List. If you attempt to create a fourth column, You’ll see this error message. Unfortunately, there are no solutions to this issue and this limitation is by design!
